Old Rusty Truck

Old Rusty Truck

Sometimes I feel like how this old trucks looks, neglected, a bit worn looking and rusty around the edges. However its that look that gives it a certain charm, which i hope I’ve also developed. I found it in Telegraph cove on Vancouver island. I say I found it, to be honest it wasn’t hidden or an achievement to discover, It was on full public display.

Telegraph Cove is a great place to waste an afternoon away and a good place for fish and chips. This is another photo I almost died taking. I was led face down, which is regular for me when taking photos, and a group of tourist rushing to catch their whale watching boat had to leap over me. However the one tubby one lagging behind didn’t make as much air as the others and almost landed on the back of my head.

Vermillion Lakes

Vermillion Lakes

Banff is one of the most favorite places I’ve visited in my short life so far. This is the view across the nearby Vermillion Lakes. This looks a nice placid scene but I can tell you the moment I took this it wasn’t. There I was trying my best to quickly capture the view while my now wife along with my brother were shouting things like, “Hurry up, get in the car” and “Look out, a bear”. However, I managed to shut them out for a few seconds and loose my self in an idle moment while I composed this image.
